If someone were to ask you whether you enjoy traveling, then your answer would most probably be a “yes, of course”. Similar to humans, animals too love to travel to places. Cynthia Bennett and her boyfriend are individuals with a passion for hiking.
This duo adopted a beautiful doggo in 2014 and named him Henry. Cynthia encountered Henry during an adoption event and instantly fell in love with the adorable creature.
At the time, he was 14 weeks old. However, he was larger in body size in comparison to the other puppies the same age. As soon as Cynthia entered the doggo’s pen, he curled up in her lap, went belly up, and flipped his head over her arm. How cute is that? Right at that exact moment, the human knew that this was the dog that she wanted.
“I think we only had him for three days when we took him on our first hike. He found the steepest, tallest rock around, and he ran up to the top of it to look over the edge,” Cynthia expressed. They then began to refer to Henry as their “little mountain goat”. After some time passed away the couple thought of bringing another pet into the family. Cynthia preferred to adopt a rescue kitten.
Five months later, the couple managed to find a Siamese mixed kitten named Baloo after searching in numerous shelters. When Baloo was introduced to Henry, the cat fell in love with the doggo instantly. All Baloo wanted to do was snuggle and play with Henry. Ever since this day the two have become best buds and they are now inseparable. It didn’t take long for Baloo and Henry to go on trips together.
“I get a lot of questions about how we got him used to it and how is it to travel with both a cat and a dog. But he really loves it. He really wants to go outside. If I touch Henry’s leash, Baloo will start screaming at the door,” commented Cynthia. Don’t forget to catch a glimpse of the travel photographs of Henry and Baloo. We are sure that you will find them to be adorable and heartwarming.
